I made this card for a colleague in the office as her friend has opened a market garden.

Its a similiar design to the one in the Autume/Winter catalogue.  I have also seen some of the jars with ginger bread men in and let look lovely, might try creating one of those next time.

Snow Swirls

Convention Pinkie Swops

This is my Pinkie swop card, the Pinkie's also got a hand made bracelet with it, obvioulsy the Pink Lad's didn't, but I am more than happy to make one for them!.

I love this embossing folder as it doubles for a flowery card and Christmas.  As you can see from the close up below, these could in fact be pointsettia's.

Well I am at the Stampin Up Convention in Mainz in Germany.

The swops I have made for  this event are above.  It is difficult having to think what people would like and what designs/stamp sets to choose, but as I had been making Christmas cards with this deisgn on I thought that I would make my swops from them.

Above is another card that we made yesterday at the church Stamp a Stack. A very successful day even if I did forget to take the envelopes for the cards with me!!! The ladies enjoyed making the four designs and one lady who was only making 10 decided to make 20, so I can't have been that bad!

This card was made from a design on Michelle's blog from several years ago, I still like the simpleness of the design and how elegant it looks.

If you have just arrived from the lovely Nicole Foinette's blog "Welcome" I hope you enjoyed her cards, what inspirational use of the new Word Play stamp set.

Even though this is the second Pinkies Blog Hop, this is my first time blog hopping so I hope you like my creations.

After seeing several cards of this design out there in blog land, I thought I might give it a go.  

The stamp set I have chosen to use is called Creative Elements (£29.95 wood or £23.95 clear) and Curly Cute (£17.95 wood or £13.95 clear).  All the cards have been made using Whisper White Card stock.

Whisper White Card Stock.  Real Red, Lucky Limeade, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Inks.

I also added an insert inside and decorated it.  Yes I even decorated the envelope ( I know I'm sad, but just imagine the receivers' face when that envelope drops through their letter box).

And I liked the design so much I will be making a some Christmas card ones in the next few weeks.

Monthly Training Swops

Just returned from Pinkies' Quarterly Training in Bicester. 

At these events we make swops so that we take say 20 swops and bring home 20 new ideas.

I didn't have much time to make them this month so I decided a takeaway cuppa was called for, but forgot to add the teabag (as pointed out to me by one of the other Pinkies) or even a straw for a cool drink.

 

They would make nice party invites(I would say bbq invites but think it may be too late for them now!).

Reason to Smile Card4

Hello Stampers

Last but not least, another set of cards made with Reason to Smile.  This time I have embosses the Reason to Smile stamps with white (or clear works just as well) onto the white card (yes it really is white card not vanilla).  I then used a dabber and swirled the ink over the stamped flowers, buffing it up with a tissue after.

This card has been stamped and then scored along the panel to make it stand out more (although you can't see that from the photo).  I like this one layer design as you don't use much card and its really effective.
