Summer Silhouettes

Hello Crafters,

Another one layer card for quick and easy stamping from Blog Land.  Just by changing your sentiment the card looks so different.

As you can see I couldn't make up my mind which colour flowers I prefered, so I tried several :-) even the envelopes get stamped to make it a complete set.  It just makes it extra special when you receive a stamped envelope through the post, and one layer cards makes it cheap as no extra postage is required.

Papillon Potpourri One Layer Card

Hello Crafters,

I love one layer cards, and couldn't resist using my favourite stamp set to make yet another card (although I have found another stamp set which could be becoming my favourite, and you will find out which one over the next few weeks) :-)

The simplicity of this card is that is it quick and easy to make, and you can make lots of them in one sitting.

The ladies on my card class last month enjoyed making this card and so did the Stamp A Stack class, and there were many different takes on this one card, and I will upload the photos over the next few weeks.

Thank you for looking at my blog :-)

Birthdays and Buttons

Hello Crafters

Had a few buttons lying about so I thought I'd check out blog land and see how I could use them on my cards.

Using the Paper Doily Sizzlits die I cut a few doilies.  This was an easy task using the big shot (I can not believe I ever managed without it!!!!).  And then putting the Crumb Cake card in the Square Lattice embossing folder and then through the big shot (again how did I manage without the big shot for so long!!).

With only the Curly Cute and Confetti stamp sets I made these cards.

I have so many different coloured buttons must try finding a few more ideas to use them all up :-)

Nature Walk

Hello Crafters,

Seen so many of this style of card out in blog land that I thought I would give it a go.

Using Nature Walk Stamp set and a mixture of colours I set about stamping a whole page of A4 Whisper white card.

4 Cards of this style can be made out of one stamped A4 sheet, and you will also need 4 card blanks and 1 sheet of A4 for the layers.  So with just 6 sheets of A4 you have 4 cards :-)

Thank you for looking at my blog. :-)

Stamp A Stack

Hello Crafters,

Just finishing the kits off for the Stamp A Stack at my friend’s church tomorrow.  I have a friend coming along who is a good crafter and she has never been to one of my classes before so I am a little nervous.

Hopefully it will be a good day and everyone will enjoy the cards they will be making.  I am hoping to get time to take some photos so will try and get them uploaded tomorrow or Sunday.

It is just a shame to be inside when we are having such lovely weather.

Well must finish these kits off.

Thank you for looking at my blog.

Love and Sympathy

Hello Crafters

Here is a simple and nice Sympathy card.  I coloured the flower in with Wisteria Wonder and the stem and leaves with Old Olive.  The sentiment was coloured with Elegant Eggplant and over stamped on the flower.

Inside I stamped the verse from the Love and Sympathy set.

A Simple card for such a sad occasion.
